SALFORD residents are advised that GP practices will be closed on Monday 1 May 2017 for the annual May Day Bank Holiday.
Anyone facing any non-emergency medical problems should, in the first option, call NHS 111.
The 111 telephone number is fast, easy and takes callers through to a highly-trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and direct you to the best medical care.
In addition to the 111 service, a small number of pharmacists in Salford will be open on Monday 1 May.
To find out which pharmacists are open, and when, visit the NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group website www.salfordccg.nhs.uk/pharmacies as well as following the updates on both Twitter (@SalfordCCG) and Facebook pages www.facebook.com/SalfordCCG.
Remember, always call 999 if someone is seriously ill or injured, and their life is at risk.
