Healthier Together will bring the biggest changes to health and social care Greater Manchester has ever seen. It covers primary care such as GP services, joined up care involving local authorities and hospital services.
Part of the changes to hospital care include medical staff working in a single service sharing expertise between different sites in order to achieve defined quality and standards. It is all aimed at improving quality for patients and saving up to 1,500 lives over five years.
